If you are having trouble smelling you might be dead or almost dead!

In a study of 3000 people found that the people with the poorest sense of smell had a risk of death 3 times greater than people with a normal sense of smell.

That was even after taken in other factors, like are they 100 years old, to they drink 12 scotches in a night, smoke Mary Jane, or had a few screws loose.

People with the lack of smell are called  "Olfactory Dyfuntion". I wish I had this when my French Bulldog eats something he shouldn't!

They found that 39 percent of the older participants with smelling disorder were dead!! (cue spooky music)

Only 10% of the people that could smell died.

Researches believe that your smell is the "Canary in the Coalmine" of human health.

To sum up, if you can't smell your buddies passing gas in the elevator you better start picking plots. :o)
